CARDIMED Suisse GmbH, a successful medical wholesaler, is looking for a committed Purchasing Manager (m/f) to strengthen our team.
Our modern office is located just a 1-minute walk from Nänikon / Greifensee train station (only 20 minutes from Zurich main station).
In this role, you will be responsible for supplier management, strategic purchasing, and operational procurement activities, ensuring availability, cost efficiency, and reliability across our supply chain.
Your key responsibilities
* Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers
* Managing and developing relationships with existing suppliers
* Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contractual conditions
* Strategic purchasing and supplier sourcing to ensure competitiveness
* Placing and managing purchase orders
* Monitoring order confirmations, deliveries, and lead times
* Coordinating with internal teams to align demand planning and purchasing
* Managing supplier data, pricing, and contracts in our system
* Handling supplier invoices in collaboration with accounting
* Ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and internal requirements
What you bring
You enjoy working with suppliers and negotiating sustainable, long-term partnerships. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of purchasing processes from sourcing to delivery.
You work independently, think strategically, and remain hands-on in daily operations. Reliability, accuracy, and a proactive mindset are natural strengths of yours. You communicate clearly and collaborate well within a dynamic team.
Language requirements
* English (mandatory – very good proficiency)
* German (important but not mandatory)
* French and/or Italian (a plus)
Bonus qualifications
* Experience in purchasing within the medical device, hospital, or healthcare sector
* Existing network of international or European suppliers
* Experience with strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
* Strong IT skills and experience with ERP systems
