Responsibilities
Define and implement the commercial plan in collaboration with general management.
Develop effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets (room revenue, F&B, group, events, etc.).
Analyze segment performance, set objectives and adjust action plans based on results.
Visit prospective clients and present various services (room stays, recreation, seminars, etc.).
Organize and manage client site visits, both planned and on‑site.
Analyze client requests, advise and make appropriate proposals.
Prepare reports on sales activities and client visits.
Organize sales activities, blitzes and prospecting.
Participate in national and international trade shows.
Plan and conduct sales calls in Switzerland and abroad.
Respond to client needs and inform them of offered services.
Build and maintain a solid portfolio of clients (companies, agencies, partners, TO).
Contribute to the optimization of occupancy rate and average room price.
Develop marketing plans aligned with commercial priorities (packages, seasonal promotions, digital campaigns).
Create marketing and sales support (brochures, videos, presentations, advertising).
Optimize the use of digital channels (website, social media, newsletters, OTAs) to increase demand and engagement.
Animate internal and external sales and marketing teams (GSO Marriott International, DFM Team, etc.).
Provide regular reports on sales results, marketing performance and key KPIs.
Use market data to identify opportunities and adjust commercial tactics.
Maintain competitive intelligence and analyze local and international market trends.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
Fluency in French and English; a third language is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the main players in the Swiss corporate, MICE and leisure market.
Interest in prospecting new clients and retaining existing clients.
