Position Overview
Head of the CIO Office: The mission is to assist the L'Occitane en Provence CIO in IT department governance oversight—strategic planning, projects portfolio management, and budget management. The role ensures that IT resources align with brand strategy and business priorities, fosters collaboration across VPs and regional IT leaders, and supports HR processes, Green IT strategy, and Agile / Lean initiatives. The Head of the CIO Office leads a global team of central and regional members and coordinates worldwide IT activities while adapting local and regional approaches. Location: Plan‑Les‑Ouates (near Geneva). Reporting to: CIO of L'Occitane en Provence.

Responsibilities

IT strategy alignment with business priorities

Participate in the IT strategic committee with L'Occitane executives to define a common vision of business priorities.

Help define a 3‑year transformation map aligned with the brand business strategy.

Program & project portfolio management

Set up and continuously adapt project prioritisation processes at strategic and tactical levels.

Ensure processes are adopted by group executives and business units, demonstrating contribution to maximising delivered value.

Set up a portfolio management framework enabling IT teams to define quarterly roadmaps and track risks & dependencies aligned with business priorities.

Measure and communicate delivered value to engage teams in learning and continuous improvement.

Budget management

Manage the global IT budget (> 80M EUR) and collaborate with the finance department.

Run the internal recharge process and IT cost allocations across all business units.

Oversee IT procurement activities and the strategic partnership program with suppliers.

Qualifications

10–15 years of IT experience with project/portfolio management and budget management, focused on user experience and needs.

Practical experience delivering agility at scale, beyond theoretical concepts such as SCRUM Master or SAFe.

Fluent in English & French (other languages are a plus).

Strong leadership, humility, and collaborative skills; ability to co‑create strategies and work across diverse departments.

Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex concepts and IT issues clearly to senior stakeholders.

Change‑management skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.

Actor of change who seeks cooperation rather than coercion.

Innovation‑driven, result‑oriented mindset.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, using data for decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Contract Details
Permanent contract, starting ASAP. Ability to travel regularly. Swiss residency mandatory. Salary: EUR 72,000–100,000 per year.
