Our unit Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), based in Zurich Oerlikon, is active in the development and production of gas insulated switching systems. We ensure the high reliability of our systems by using state of the art development tools and methods. You will be part of the newly formed European Sales Team that focuses on the European GIS market with particular responsibility for the Swiss market as part of the Swiss Front End Sales Team. As Area Sales Manager (f/m/d), it is your exciting task to facilitate the energy transition by a cutting edge product portfolio. In your team, you will work with international peers having many years of experience within the high voltage business. Based in Baden and Oerlikon, the role will assume responsibility for the Swiss GIS customers. Tasks Assume responsibility for tender management of the GIS product line and devise complete offers for the Swiss market Assume responsibility for the Swiss market as central contact person for all GIS sales related questions, consult and advice customers in technical and commercial project matters Functionally lead our global sales operations team members and other relevant functions on a project base to ensure full consistency of the offers (technical and commercial) Perform risk reviews and set up cost calculations Lead technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the GIS factory and the local Swiss sales unit Support the Swiss Sales Representatives and Account Managers to develop and maintain sustainable business relationships with Swiss customers to achieve agreed budget and growth targets Prepare production forecasts and provide support in preparing sales key figures (budget) in collaboration with local Market Management Deliver customer workshops, sales trainings, and participate in trade fairs Requirements Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering respectively in a technical discipline Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical sales, project management, product management, key account management or similar areas of expertise Sales personality with confident appearance on all customer levels and proven experience in the energy industry or manufacturing Entr
