ROLE SUMMARY:
St. George’s International School, located in Clarens on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland, is a leading international school offering a broad and balanced education to students aged 3–18 within a diverse and multicultural community.
We are currently seeking a Psychology Teacher to join our Senior School. The successful candidate will teach A Level and/or IBDP Psychology and may contribute to additional subjects such as Global Perspectives, ToK or support the IBDP CAS programme. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress and contributing to the wider life of the school.
Full‑time or part‑time applications will be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Teach A Level and/or IBDP Psychology.
* Be willing to teach additional subjects such as Global Perspectives, ToK, or support the IBDP CAS programme.
* Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons that promote strong learning outcomes.
* Follow faculty assessment policies and contribute to student reports and feedback.
* Attend parent‑teacher meetings and school meetings as required.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development within the faculty.
* Provide class cover when necessary.
* Act as a positive role model and uphold school expectations.
* Contribute to the school community through tutoring, pastoral support and extra‑curricular activities, including leading a club.
* Work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Proven experience teaching A Level and/or IBDP Psychology.
* Degree in Psychology or a related field and a recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong knowledge of A Level or IBDP assessment criteria.
* Ability to teach additional subjects such as Global Perspectives, ToK, or support the IBDP CAS programme.
* Strong classroom management and ability to set clear expectations to support student progress.
* Excellent planning, assessment and feedback skills, with confidence using ICT in teaching.
* Genuine commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
* Experience teaching Senior School students (11–18 years).
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
