About the role: The Strategy and Market Development Leader, EMEA is responsible for driving growth and strategic direction of the Thermal and Specialized Solutions business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, based at the European Headquarters in Switzerland. The role reports to the EMEA Business Director and is a member of the EMEA leadership team.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning & Decision-Making: lead design, development and execution of regional business strategies; conduct in-depth market assessments, scenario planning and competitive analysis; translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps; guide annual and long-range planning processes.
* Market Development & Business Model Innovation: design and launch innovative business models; identify and capitalize on growth opportunities driven by regulations, technology and sustainability; forge and manage strategic partnerships to expand value propositions.
* Leadership, Change Management & Culture: inspire and develop multidisciplinary teams; promote collaboration across business functions; represent the business at industry forums and with key external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
* 12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, marketing or business development, ideally within highly regulated B2B sectors.
* 2–3 years in a top-tier consulting firm highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact strategies, launching innovative business models and leading cross‑functional teams in international markets.
* Exceptional analytical, communication and strategic decision‑making skills.
