On behalf of our Swiss partner we are looking for a nanny for A warm and active French-Italian family is relocating to Zug and seeking a kind, responsible nanny to care for their three children aged 4, 5 and 7. The ideal candidate will be a native or fluent German speaker, with a good command of either English, French or Italian. A driving licence is essential.
This is primarily a live-out position, though accommodation can be provided at the start to help with the transition. The family would prefer someone already based in or near Zug.
The core working hours are weekday afternoons from 2pm to 8pm, totalling 30 hours per week. For those looking to increase hours, there’s the option to work weekday mornings (7am–9am) and/or take on additional housekeeping duties, potentially bringing the total up to 40–50 hours per week. The role is focused on childcare, including school pickups, supporting homework in German, preparing vegan meals, and helping with the evening routine. Household tasks will be limited to child-related duties unless more hours are agreed upon.
While both parents work full-time, the children attend a bilingual (German-English) school. The family’s home language is French, and they hope the nanny will support their children’s German skills.
The role may occasionally involve overnight stays when both parents are away—these will be agreed in advance and compensated separately.
The monthly gross salary starts at CHF 3,250 for 30 hours per week, rising accordingly for more hours and responsibilities, up to CHF 5,500 for full-time nanny-housekeeping support.
This is a lovely opportunity for someone experienced, dependable, and proactive—ideally someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and is confident managing their needs independently.
