We are looking for an experienced professional to manage our Regional HR Europe team. The team is responsible for the employee lifecycle, talent acquisition, support to business leaders on performance management and employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations, payroll and benefits administration, and continuous HR process improvement. This management role will be part of the HR Business unit, reporting to the Head of HR, with presence in Zug, London, and Luxembourg, covering other European offices (Guernsey, Milan, Munich, and Paris).
Responsibilities include leading and managing the Regional HR team in daily activities, implementing system, tools, process, and control enhancements, and servicing various client requests.
Key areas of the function will be:
1. Leading and managing the Regional HR Europe team in daily activities.
2. Supervising and coaching team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams.
3. Ensuring compliance with local labour laws and staying updated on legislative changes.
4. Guiding the team in optimizing HR processes related to the employee lifecycle for efficiency.
5. Administering HR operational processes, related systems, and documentation.
6. Managing external providers and budgets related to HR operations.
7. Handling complex HR operational concerns and acting as an escalation point prior to the Head of HR.
8. Providing advice and instruction to employees on HR matters.
9. Implementing and driving upgrades to processes, policies, and documentation.
10. Managing complex employee relations cases and legal matters, escalating as needed.
What we expect
* Proven experience in HR Operations or a related field for at least 8-10 years with increasing responsibilities, with a degree in HR or a related discipline.
* Leadership skills with experience in guiding and managing a team.
* Experience managing projects related to process, system, and control improvements, demonstrating a highly organized and structured work approach with a strong understanding of HR processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively support and advise employees and business units on HR matters.
* Effective communication and presentation skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement across different functions and seniority levels in an international environment.
* Experience coaching junior team members and providing proactive, constructive feedback.
* Proficiency in English; proficiency in German is preferred.
