We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Head of Demand & Inventory Planning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the full forecasting lifecycle—from creating accurate demand forecasts to managing inventory planning and aligning supply and purchasing estimates.
In this key position, you'll be responsible for setting clear targets based on sales expectations, ensuring optimal inventory levels across the network. You’ll play a crucial role in executing our assortment strategy as well as setting targets to streamline our supplier base and harmonizing our product offer across the business.

About this role
Working in a dynamic and evolving environment, the Head of Demand & Inventory Planning will assign and take accountability for targets relating to inventory, E&O stock, availability, service level and forecasting accuracy for the regions and Europe and working in collaboration with logistics and finance.
Other responsibilities will include
* Driving supply chain performance toward optimized targets for each business unit
* Executing brand consolidation strategies effectively, ensuring proper forecast and product availability management while minimizing the E&O risk
* Coordinating with category management to drive improvement of customer satisfaction via advanced branch stock profiling techniques
* Deploying the sales and operations planning (S&OP) outcomes on SKU level in terms of consensus demand plans, target inventory levels and purchase targets respecting defined logistics constraints
* Managing a team of demand and inventory planners and branch stock profiling specialists
* Proposing budget for the supply chain planning function for approval by the European Supply Chain Director
* Implementing strategies to improve service quality, employee efficiency and cross-regional/cross-functional cooperation
* Enhancing, integrating and harmonizing demand and inventory planning processes throughout the entire LKQE extended supply chain, including branch stock profiling
* Identifying and implementing the best models for forecasting, including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
Skills and Experience needed
* Educated to degree level in business management or engineering
* 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international company
* In-depth understanding of the extended supply chain networks
* Proven expertise in demand and inventory planning
* Competent and experienced utilizing advanced planning systems and techniques
* Experience leading an international team
* Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
* Independent and patient with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
