Reports to: Head of Construction Department
The Home Office Construction Engineer supports the planning and execution of construction activities from proposal to project completion. Acts as a technical interface between the Construction Department and other departments, ensuring construction aspects are integrated into project development and delivery.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
* Supports Sales Department with new project budgets and proposals, providing technical feedback based on previous projects and bidder quotations.
* Prepares manhours and quantity estimations for construction activities during the proposal phase, collaborating with the Project Controlling Department.
* During subcontracting bidding, prepares Work Requisitions, gathers technical documents, and defines work packages with PM/PD.
* Manages Technical Queries from bidders in cooperation with technical departments.
* Prepares technical bid evaluations for construction works following Casale procedures, collecting assessments from QA & HSE, planning, plant engineering, and equipment engineering.
* Organizes Constructability sessions and Construction Methods analysis with relevant departments.
* Attends risk analysis meetings organized by PM/PD on construction topics.
* Participates in preparing and revising Construction Department procedures with the HO Construction Manager.
* Collects lessons learned and best practices from site projects and shares with involved departments.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a similar role with a proven track record in Construction Management within large EP/EPC industrial or engineering projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
Leadership Skills: Ability to manage cross-functional teams and ensure project success.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
