The Chair of Infrastructure Management, led by Professor Dr. Bryan T. Adey at the Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatic Engineering, is seeking a student research assistant for our Sustainable Urban Transition Lab.

At the Sustainable Urban Transition Lab at ETH Zurich, we collaborate with cities to address urban transport challenges such as tourism seasonality, hybrid work, accessibility, and promoting sustainable travel habits through innovative, data-driven solutions.
Job description
Your role will involve assisting in setting up a data pipeline for a synthetic population and travel demand model using Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, geopandas, Matplotlib). You will work closely with senior researchers who will guide you through the implementation, but independent work is expected and appreciated.
The workload is up to 15 hours per week during the semester, with flexible working hours to accommodate exam preparation or other study commitments.
