Connect 44 are hiring for a Civil Work Expert to join the team in Lausanne.
Responsibilities include independently controlling and managing the completion of mobile site infrastructure construction and telecom hardware implementation according to internal processes and client requirements.
The scope covers overseeing the entire process, from ordering to delivery, ensuring successful work acceptance within the planned time and budget.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients and partners to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget expectations. Coordination with other teams is essential to align all project aspects with the project goals.
A high degree of creativity and a proactive attitude are expected. The candidate will be part of the Technical and Operation Department, reporting to the Civil Work Team leader within the Technical Operation - Deployment function.
Contribute to enhancing the department and organization reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
* Manage end-to-end projects independently according to established processes.
* Handle site infrastructure upgrade, re-engineering, and re-construction projects.
* Manage site share upgrade projects.
* Oversee telecom and transmission hardware installation activities within these projects.
* Participate in site design surveys to find suitable solutions ensuring compliance with internal, customer, health and safety, and engineering standards.
* Takeover, verify, and launch new projects.
* Verify and validate subcontractor offers according to internal procedures and scope of work.
* Manage services and material ordering processes.
* Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, initiate, coordinate, monitor, and report project activities, costs, and progress against schedule, scope, and budget.
* Maintain project and company tools with accurate forecast and actual data, and project status updates.
* Perform risk management to identify and mitigate project risks.
* Escalate deviations from project design, schedule, scope, and costs.
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Maintain regular contact with partners to track project status.
* Update processes and guidelines in line with contractual obligations, standards, and local regulations to ensure proper project execution.
* Propose improvements to workflow tools to enhance team efficiency.
