We are looking for a colleague to join per 1 February or by agreement until 31 December 2026. The Department of Einwohnerwesen oversees the registration duties of residents and the maintenance of resident registers, as well as the Kantonalen Einwohnerdaten‑Plattform (KEP) and related harmonisation tasks. In this role you will support municipalities with information and advise, while contributing to a vibrant and dynamic administrative environment.
Responsibilities
Preparation and execution of the application process for connecting data suppliers to the KEP.
Legal review of applications, issuance of orders, and supervision of data‑suppliers in the field of registration and residents’ affairs with municipalities.
Provision of legal opinions and drafting of directives and orders.
Ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
Participation in the training and development of municipal resident services.
Support the department in all routine and complex administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Law (jurist or jurist).
Preferable experience in public administration and/or in a similar legal advisory role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex matters clearly.
Pragmatic problem‑solving and organised approach to handling multiple files.
Team‑orientated, communicative and capable of working independently and autonomously.
Comfortable with legal language that is comprehensible to non‑legal stakeholders.
