Celeroton TurboCell is a Swiss based fast-growing technology leader developing and manufacturing high-speed turbo compressors and drive systems using gas bearings for fuel cell applications. The company is based in Volketswil and sells its products worldwide for a broad range of applications including automotive, stationary, marine and aerospace industry.
Your Tasks
* Development of power electronic inverter systems for the control of turbo compressors in fuel cell applications
* Definition of system architecture and functional partitioning of power electronic inverters, as well as development of associated cross-system functions and technologies, such as cooling and manufacturing concepts
* Alignment of technical specifications and coordination of system interfaces between the inverter, the electric motor and the turbo compressor in interdisciplinary development teams
* Performing power loss calculations and circuit optimizations
* Simulation of topologies and control loops using LT-Spice, Matlab, 2D FEM and other tools, circuit design and PCB layout design with Altium Designer
* Design and commissioning digital and analog circuits
* Definition of testing and validation requirements, as well as planning, execution, and evaluation of validation tests
* Product ownership and life-cycle management, including production support and quality control
* Supporting function in definition of functional safety implementation and strategy
* Contact person for customers (internal and external) in all technical matters
Our requirements
* Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering (ETH/UNI/FH) or comparable education
* Experience as hardware developer in the field of power electronics
* Application knowledge in PCBA and CAD design tools, ideally Altium Designer and Autodesk Inventor
* Knowledge in system control and programming of microcontrollers (C) is beneficial
* Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit and creativity
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Good knowledge of German is a strong plus
