Responsibilities
* Support Chromatography customers (Liquid and Gaseous) in the Valais/Wallis area and Romandie with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor system solutions.
* Installs and optimizes hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites.
* Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
* Performs maintenance and repairs.
* Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance.
* Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
* Delivers fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
* Trains other field engineers and customers in the solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree within the science field (chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology) or professional experience in the same field.
* Track record of customer service experience in a similar position or experience as an end user.
* Fluency in French, German, and English is a must.
* Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.
* Experience with Agilent solutions is desired but not essential.
* Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
* Enjoys travelling and visiting customers.

This job has a full-time weekly schedule and includes the option to work remotely. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location and are discussed during the hiring process.
