We are looking for a Senior System X who will take strong ownership of our infrastructure stack and contribute to its evolution, reliability, and security. System X is a financial company based in Lausanne.Description:Act as a technical reference for:- Nutanix (AHV, storage, cluster lifecycle management)- Veeam Backup & Enterprise LinuxContribute to the evolution of:- Privileged Access Management- Core network and security components- Windows server environments (where applicable)Maintain strong infrastructure and procedures.Resilience, Backup & Business Continuity:Own backup and recovery architecture across virtual machines, and storage in the design, testing, and continuous improvement of BCP/DRP. Recovery objectives are documented, realistic, and tested. Contribute to audit readiness, and the role is critical in maintaining resilience within a financial environment.Monitoring, Logging & continuous improvement of System X log management.Develop and maintain internal scripts (PowerShell preferred, Shell scripting on Linux).Drive and manage efficiency & management processes. Support internal audits and control with external vendors and service management on technical issues during exceptional interventions when required.Profile:Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a hands-on infrastructure System X enterprise in banking, asset management, or financial services preferred. Experience with hyperconverged or enterprise systems (Nutanix strongly preferred). Enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Advanced Linux (Red Hat or equivalent). Solid networking and infrastructure security knowledge is required. Experience with PAM solutions. Experience with enterprise monitoring or SIEM solutions.
