As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are immediately seeking a motivated and dedicated Supply Chain Specialist for a temporary assignment of one year with the possibility of extension.
Sensor & Cartridge Operations manufactures sensors, stripes, electrochemical electrodes, and calibration solutions for Point-of-Care analysis instruments.
Tasks
* Material planning of non-finished goods, including creation and monitoring of purchase orders to meet production requirements and prevent supply disruptions.
* Act as key contact to suppliers regarding daily operations, providing forecasts and guidance in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Direct Procurement, Production Planning, and the Material Squad.
* Monitor supplier performance via on-time delivery rates, non-conformity trends, and responsiveness, driving optimizations with Direct Procurement.
* Analyze disruptions, escalate issues timely, identify root causes, and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
* Monitor and improve NFG inventory levels and scrap, balancing financial liability with stock availability, and continuously improve master data related to material requirements planning.
Must Haves
* Completed degree in business administration or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Production Planning, or Supply Chain.
* At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations.
* Strong interface and communication skills, independent working style, and team collaboration.
* Fluent in English and German, with the ability to handle sensitive topics.
* Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
* Flexibility for global communication needs and occasional travel (<10%).
