Project description
The developed product is a comprehensive software system in the Energy sector, encompassing all stages of Oil & Gas production—from geological exploration to operational optimization. Our technology empowers geologists and geophysicists to effectively analyze, visualize, and interpret extensive geological data. You will join a senior, supportive, and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality industry solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide domain and functional QA support for visualization-focused applications.
Ensure product quality through comprehensive validation of features, workflows, and user interactions.
Contribute as an active QA member within Agile teams to deliver high-quality product increments.
Develop detailed test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Validate complex workflows involving data visualization, interaction, and rendering.
Verify integration between frontend visualization components and backend GIS services, including map/data services and server configurations.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and subject matter experts to define and validate key user workflows.
Participate in Sprint Planning to ensure testing scope and risks are well understood and accounted for.
Set up, manage, and maintain test environments, including datasets required for validation.
Verify that new development changes do not negatively impact existing functionality (regression testing).
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproducibility and impact analysis.
Ensure defects are resolved and validated according to defined quality standards.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, especially related to performance, rendering accuracy, and user interactions.
Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and automation practices.
