Overview
Summary : The Global FAI AN CD&D director leads a global team of technical experts, driving technical and applied innovation to support the Animal Nutrition business. This role sets strategies and goals aligned with the Animal Nutrition focus on solutions based on feed additives and ingredients. The Global director fosters a culture of sharing, innovation, and best-in-class technical support, ensuring delivery of complex solutions in animal nutrition, including feed additives and premixes. The position is part of the AN CD&D global leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Global team leadership: lead and manage a global team of customer-facing colleagues with a deep understanding of ADM AN FA&I portfolio and associated solutions, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth. Additionally, represent the team within the AN CD&D Leadership Team.
Talent development: Foster a positive team culture and develop talent.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies and goals to advance the Animal Nutrition business, ensuring alignment with broader ADM goals and processes.
Innovation and Technical Support: Cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence in technical support, promoting the sharing of best practices and cutting-edge solutions. Oversee the I2L (Insight to Launch) projects pipeline that add value to the global FAI portfolio.
Training: Facilitate the team’s participation in commercially relevant and high quality training initiatives to support customer-facing colleagues, customers, and the Animal Nutrition Academy.
Safety Responsibilities: Uphold and prioritize safety in all team activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies, especially in laboratory operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated approaches to animal nutrition solutions.
Market and Cultural Adaptability: Leverage hands-on experience from different markets and cultures to drive global business success.
Key Experiences Required
* International Team Leadership: 5-10 years of experience leading international teams, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse and geographically dispersed teams effectively.
* Product and services launch experience: Successful track record in launching and commercializing new product and service innovations.
* Customer Technical Support: Extensive experience in providing technical support in the field of animal nutrition, with a focus on complex solutions involving feed additives and ingredients.
* Global Business Experience: Proven track record of working within a global matrix organization, with hands-on experience in different markets and cultures.

Qualifications
* Advanced degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the animal nutrition industry.
* Strong verbal and written (English) communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development.
* Ability to travel internationally as required.
* Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment and open to change.
* Proactive, goal-oriented, and customer-focused team player.
