Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Implementation
Gold Standard is seeking a Consultant for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Implementation to oversee the deployment of its ERP system. The role involves ensuring timely, within-budget delivery that meets specifications, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations. The project duration is approximately 9 months, with a possibility of extension. Immediate filling of this position is preferred.

Gold Standard is a standards body and thought leader promoting best practices in climate and development projects. Primary Responsibilities
The Consultant will act as the project manager and primary contact between the implementation vendor and Gold Standard stakeholders. They will provide technical and functional guidance, training, and support to the project team and end-users.
The key tasks include:
1. Review and refine existing business processes, mapping them to ERP functionalities.
2. Assist in selecting the best vendor through proposal evaluation, system demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
3. Develop a detailed project plan covering scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.
4. Coordinate and supervise activities of the project team, including internal staff, external vendors, and stakeholders.
5. Monitor project budget and progress, reporting issues and proposing corrective actions.
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks affecting project success.
7. Facilitate communication between vendor and Gold Standard to ensure clear expectations.
8. Support business units in requirements definition and communication to the vendor.
9. Manage data migration and user acceptance testing.
10. Ensure quality, security, and compliance of all project outputs.
11. Provide training and support to ensure effective ERP system use.
The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Remote work is possible, but on-site presence is expected.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* A master's degree or equivalent in business administration, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
* At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing ERP projects, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations.
* Experience working in the nonprofit sector and understanding of their processes.
* Strong technical and functional skills in ERP configuration, customization, integration, testing, and deployment.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Xero is a plus.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., MB-920, MB-310, MB-500, MB-700) are advantageous.
Outputs
The Consultant will deliver:
* A business process and requirements analysis report.
* A comprehensive project plan and schedule.
* Regular project status reports, including budget monitoring.
* A quality assurance and compliance report.
* A training and support plan with materials.
