Background:
The perfect candidate: We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, or equivalent professional experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Python programming, 3+ years of REST API design experience, and excellent English communication skills. The perfect candidate is proactive, analytical, highly adaptable, and thrive in cross-functional teams, quickly learning new technologies to tackle complex technical challenges.
Your Tasks:
1. Provide agile software development services for the “Target Evaluator” project according to the project plan.
2. Provide technical consulting services to support the project team.
3. Develop and implement robust backend functionalities that meet defined business needs
4. Design and implement APIs for the "Target Evaluator"
5. Integrate with other applications, working out technical details independently with other teams
6. Research and apply new data processing and analysis techniques
7. Improve quality through performance evaluation, implementation of testing strategies, and tooling
Your Profile:
8. Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Information Systems, or Bioinformatics is preferred. Candidates with extensive professional experience in the field can also be considered.
9. Python programming (5+ years)
10. Experience in REST API design (3+ years)
11. Some experience in ML engineering in e.g. life sciences
12. Experience in CI/CD using GitLab
13. Experience in GitOps
14. Experience in Kubernetes for hosting of services
15. Experience in implementing user interfaces
16. Working in HPC environments
17. Knowledge of LLMs and LLM-based multi agent frameworks
18. Excellent communication skills in fluent English, both written and verbal
19. Strong collaborative approach and a desire to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
20. Proactive and analytical mindset for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
