The Zentrum für Psychosespektrumstörungen (ZPSS) includes the Therapiestation Olvido for adolescents (14-17 years) with psychosis in Spiez and the ambulatory Früherkennungs- und Therapiezentrum (FETZ) for children, adolescents, and young adults (8-40 years) in Bern. We are restructuring and strengthening these services, creating two new positions for Oberpsycholog*innen. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new treatment concepts as part of the interdisciplinary leadership team.
Oberpsychologin / Oberpsychologe (w/m/d)
University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
Employment rate: 60 - 100%
Start date: October 1, 2025, or by agreement
Your responsibilities
* Lead, train, and supervise assistant psychologists and physicians in diagnostics and therapy, involving the extended system (family, school, training)
* Conduct diagnostics and therapies in individual, family, and group settings
* Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, including nursing and educational staff, and network with other professionals within and outside the clinic
* Engage in conceptual work to further develop psychotherapeutic offerings, such as establishing group therapy options
* Support clinical research projects at ZPSS and participate in teaching, training, and research activities
* FETZ: jointly lead FETZ with a senior physician, support diagnostic assessments, case management, and therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults at risk or suspected of psychosis
* Olvido: jointly lead the youth station Olvido with a senior physician and nursing/educational leadership, supporting diagnostics, therapy, and reintegration of youths with acute psychosis or incomplete remission
Your profile
* Successfully completed psychotherapy training
* Interested in applying evidence-based diagnostic and treatment concepts and sharing your knowledge
* Experience or strong interest in working with young people with psychosis or at risk
* Enjoy responsibility and contributing to the development of services for young people with psychosis
* Interested in research, with possible experience in scientific work (PhD advantageous)
