General / Managerial Responsibilities
* Customer-facing role to manage service management for the given area of contracts with the customer.
* Interface with offshore team and customer to manage technical escalations.
* Guiding the team and driving the operations team 24/7.
* Participate and technically lead in MIM (Major Incident Management) calls and provide timely solutions/updates.
* Provide guidance to L1/L2 teams and create documentation for their support.
* Technical coordination with OEM support for technology assistance.
* Update training and support documentation.
* Service management aligned with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
* Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
Cisco Routing & Switching
* 8+ years of experience in Network Design, Implementation, and support.
* Responsible for creating High-Level Network Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation Plan, Migration Plan, and Testing Plan for new projects.
* Validate existing designs and provide recommendations for optimization.
* Expertise in Cisco Products (Nexus 5K, Cisco 9K, 35K, 38K, 4500 switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points).
* Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
* Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Arranging scheduled upgrades.
* Investigating faults in the network.
* Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
* Knowledge of Cisco Meraki with its APs and Switches.
* End-to-end configuration and optimization, updating of Meraki devices.
* Troubleshooting the end user connectivity issues
* Experience working on large global MPLS/SD-WAN projects.
* Ability to work with customers in activating services.
* Preferred implementation experience of SD-WAN on platforms like Cisco-Viptela, Catalyst SD-WAN, or similar solutions.
* Creating and following the SD WAN Templates and implementing key features like TLOC extension
Security (Checkpoint & Palo Alto)
* Experience in Security Firewalls – Checkpoint and Palo Alto.
* Planning, designing, and creating supporting documentation for upgrades and increased network security.
* Performing troubleshooting from end to end for any issues related to Firewall
* Policy-based access control and NAC implementation.
AWS Networking
* VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud networking solutions.
* Troubleshooting DC and Cloud Network connectivity issues and providing solutions quick and efficiently
Proxy Technologies
* Broadcom Proxy & Squid Proxy: Secure web gateway configuration, policy enforcement, and performance tuning.
* PAC file updates, troubleshooting the proxy related end user issues
Operations & Automation
* Hands-on experience in Network Monitoring and Alert Management.
* Experience troubleshooting transport layer issues (WAN Link).
* Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
* Experience in assisting in automation of activities & scripting.
