Firefighter with the role of deputy inspector Your mission Joining the Cantonal Establishment for Insurance and Prevention (ECAP) is to contribute directly to the safety of the Neuchâtel community. Within the cantonal firefighting system, you play a key role in the training of firefighters and their leaders. You also contribute to the activities by providing support in analysis, and responsibilities. Design, organize, and deliver training for firefighters at the cantonal and federal levels. Develop, update, and evolve training programs and pathways to meet current and future needs. Contribute to missions (analyses, reports, projects, support activities, and to cantonal and inter-cantonal commissions). Ensure monitoring and related activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of intervention concepts and actively work on continuous disaster response concepts. Profile: Firefighter, professional or volunteer, with a strong interest in knowledge transfer and solid communication and writing skills. Proficient with common tools. Strong analytical, synthesis, and institutional skills, with a sense of public interest, reliability, and discretion. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal and external partners. Comfortable working in demanding environments with good management. Completion of firefighter training at the level of adult education required, or willingness to undertake this experience. Confirmed experience in the field, experience in leadership or coaching is desirable. Writing experience in a workplace context. Start date: immediately or as soon as possible.
