What to expect in your new job.
* Full ownership of sourcing and sales for virgin PET, with focus on margin optimization and commercial performance.
* Manage and further develop our robust supplier network, continuously building competitive advantage and long-term partnerships.
* Work closely with our international sales offices to expand customer reach and drive profitable growth across regions.
* Manage the risk/reward in the portfolio within a defined financial framework.
* Define and execute the business plan and financial budget for your product line, based on your market expertise and commercial acumen.
* Monitor key business KPIs and proactively initiate corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
* Position reporting to Meraxis Head of Trading.
What you should bring.
* Ideallyyears of proven track record in the trading/product management of polymers, ideally of PET, with experience in managing supplier and customer relationships.
* Strong commercial mindset with a trader's instinct - you are used to drive performance, negotiations and results.
* Deep understanding of market dynamics and technical understanding of polymer materials and applications.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across cultures and functions.
* Fluency in English is essential. German is a strong asset, additional European languages are a plus.
* A self-starter and problem-solver with a structured, independent working style and an entrepreneurial mindset.
* High energy, resilience, and a relentless drive to succeed in a competitive, fast-moving environment.
