Content & Media Lead
Reports to: Director of Communications & Events
About My First Bitcoin
My First Bitcoin is the leading non‑profit organization globally for grassroots Bitcoin education. We operate through 83 communities across more than 40 countries, providing open, independent education programs such as the Intro Course and Bitcoin Diploma. Our mission is to empower individuals worldwide through accessible, sovereign Bitcoin education and to grow a global network of educators and communities.
Role Overview
The Content & Media Lead owns all external‑facing content and digital communication at My First Bitcoin, including the website, social channels, and conversion funnels.
This role is responsible for growing MFB’s global digital presence and turning attention into measurable action — specifically into students, educators, and supporters.
The position requires a high level of ownership and autonomy. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a highly execution‑driven operator with a strong personal affinity for social media. They actively use platforms themselves, understand how content performs, and enjoy working hands‑on with content creation and distribution.
They are deeply familiar with best practices across major social platforms and have an intrinsic interest in staying up to date with the latest trends in content production — including formats, hooks, thumbnails, editing styles, and platform‑specific dynamics.
When making decisions, this role prioritizes executional excellence over purely theoretical or strategic knowledge.
All work is grounded in MFB’s mission of scaling independent, grassroots Bitcoin education globally.
