Job Description
* Drive new business acquisition in our portfolio of products including management system certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, etc.), while developing and expanding selected existing accounts
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through a mix of proactive prospecting and inbound opportunities
* Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing
* Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities within selected existing clients to grow wallet share
* Develop trusted relationships with decision‑makers, enabling initial wins and ensuring high levels of customer retention and future business potential
* Represent SGS at industry events, trade fairs, and networking platforms to generate both new leads and strengthen market presence
* Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity tracking in Salesforce (CRM)
* Collaborate closely with the subregional Sales/Business Development Managers and operational teams to convert opportunities and deliver value to clients
Qualifications
* Strong track record in B2B sales with a focus on new business development, ideally within Business Assurance or TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification)
* Ability to combine commercial drive with a consultative, trust‑based selling approach
* Credible and professional presence, with the ability to engage stakeholders
* Structured, reliable, and quality‑oriented working style
* Fluent German (C1) and good, professional level English (B2)
* Willingness to travel and engage regularly with clients across the country
