Your challenge
1. Own and manage the operational SAP application landscape in a regulated, international environment, ensuring stable and reliable daily operations
2. Coordinate SAP operations with internal experts, business stakeholders, and external service providers, act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and incidents
3. Plan and oversee releases, system updates, maintenance windows, and downtimes to maintain operational continuity
4. Ensure compliance with SAP documentation standards on the SAP Enterprise Portal and SharePoint
5. Support SAP operations alongside the S/4HANA transformation, focusing on stability and long-term readiness
6. Govern SAP system changes and transport activities via SAP Solution Manager, assist in transitioning to new change and transport management tools
7. Plan, schedule, and control transports to productive systems, ensuring changes are compliant and traceable
8. Handle standard and emergency changes, including occasional evening imports to minimize business disruption
9. Conduct initial analysis of change and transport issues and escalate as needed
10. Maintain and align test documentation, coordinating test planning and execution with project managers and business stakeholders
11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of change, release, and transport processes
12. Support audit-relevant SAP topics and documentation with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and service partners
13. Manage security-related topics, including emergency access approvals and critical authorizations according to internal policies
Your qualifications
14. Extensive hands-on experience in SAP application operations, SAP support, or SAP governance, preferably in a regulated or international organization with a strong focus on run operations
15. Solid working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and SAP change and transport processes, including governed changes and daily transport coordination
16. Proven track record of collaborating with external SAP service providers in distributed, international environments, serving as a coordination and escalation point
17. Practical experience supporting audit and compliance topics in SAP environments, including documentation preparation and audit readiness
18. Good understanding of SAP security topics such as emergency access, critical authorizations, and Security Notes handling
19. Comfortable working in IT operations or IT service management environments, balancing operational stability with controlled change
20. Experience in SAP Enterprise Portal administration is an advantage
21. Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work reliably across teams, locations, and organizational boundaries
22. Fluent English, German is an advantage
