Overview
This role acts as the operational, analytical, and governance support partner to the Manager of Ortho SC Procurement at DePuy Synthes, enabling effective management of the external manufacturing relationship with Jabil.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume, system-driven workflows (Appian/DOL) including Project Orders, New Product Addendums, and retained supplier pricing updates, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Support pricing governance: consolidate supplier inputs, identify gaps, build structured datasets, prepare price comparison views, track open pricing questions, and support negotiations.
- Provide demand, inventory, and supply flow analytics for Material Purchase Agreements and inventory coverage, and analyze cross-supplier alignment scenarios.
- Reconcile material-level datasets for claims, excess, and obsolescence, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across systems, and maintain supporting documentation.
- Track and maintain cost-improvement initiatives, validate savings input, prepare executive business review dashboards, and develop structured reporting on cost trends.
- Drive continuous improvement: support DOL/Appian enhancements, define requirements, perform UAT, and identify opportunities to simplify workflows, increase automation, and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or data-driven roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with workflow or ERP systems.
- Preferred experience with Appian or similar workflow platforms.
- Experience in MedTech, Orthopaedics, or regulated manufacturing environments.
