For our client, an international company based in Wettingen, Aargau, we are looking for a dedicated HSE Specialist (80–100% f/m/d).
General Information
Location: Wettingen, Aargau. Start Date: ASAP. Duration: permanent. Working Hours: 80–100%.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with Swiss occupational safety, health and environmental regulations and implementing the company's policies and standards for the Wettingen operating unit.
Supporting and consulting all hierarchical levels regarding occupational safety, health and environmental management.
Conducting opportunity and risk analyses and implementing necessary measures together with all stakeholders.
Promoting quality and safety culture and implementing employee engagement programs in collaboration with the local & HUB HSE Team, including training at all hierarchical levels following the Wettingen HSE competence Matrix.
Investigating and communicating accidents and implementing appropriate measures to prevent further accidents.
Planning and conducting internal and external audits regarding ISO 9001 / 45001 & compliance with the company's internal HSE standards.
Preparing and implementing the Yearly Site HSE Plan and other HSE-related documentation such as the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
Producing reports for Project Reviews, both internal and Customer, and attending the Project Review meetings to ensure the HSE Operating System remains suitable, adequate, and effective.
Reviewing HSE documentation from all subcontractors and supporting subcontractors to meet internal and external HSE requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or training with a mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering background.
Professional HSE certification based on Swiss legislation.
Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within a process manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to draft HSE technical documentation.
Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work effectively in global teams.
Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
