We are looking for an experienced Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Operations Manager with a strong background in purchase requisition and PO processing, data quality oversight, and policy compliance. In this role, you will manage the operational purchasing help desk across multiple business units.
You will take ownership of the end-to-end requisition-to-order (P2P) process across all spend channels, ensuring adherence to procurement policies. Your work will be key to driving continuous improvement in the P2P process, tracked through weekly KPIs.
Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end P2P process across all spend channels and ensure policy compliance.
* Manage the operational purchasing help desk across multiple business units.
* Support end users with system and process queries.
* Manage vendor onboarding validations and maintain data accuracy across catalogs, pricing, lead times, and other purchasing elements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and track progress via weekly KPIs.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of relevant P2P experience (ideally in roles such as Purchasing Agent).
* Deep expertise in the Ariba P2P suite (including Guided Buying) and SAP S/4HANA.
* Strong customer focus, drive for compliance, and ability to enforce standards while maintaining a collaborative approach.
* Fluency in English and at least C1-level German.
Contract details
This is a 3-month contract role with the intention of internalization after the contract period, based on performance.
