MISSION As Quality Control Group Leader, you will lead the Quality Control team within the Quality department, ensuring the effective execution of product quality controls in compliance with EMS standards and regulatory requirements.
You will play a key role in supporting product release, supplier quality activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring strong collaboration across departments and alignment with global quality objectives.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Control team to ensure high performance and expertise
Define team objectives, priorities, and workload allocation
Ensure appropriate training and development of team members
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset
Quality Control Operations Ensure the execution of incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
Guarantee compliance with internal procedures and applicable quality standards
Oversee product release activities and ensure required documentation is complete and compliant
Manage quarantine processes and quality control stock
Supplier Quality & External Interfaces Manage supplier quality control activities, including inspection and follow-up
Support and monitor supplier quality processes (AQP)
Ensure proper handling of supplier non-conformities at incoming inspection
Performance & Continuous Improvement Define and monitor KPIs related to Quality Control activities
Analyze performance and implement improvement actions to optimize processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across departments
Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting Ensure effective communication with Production, Supply Chain, R&D, and other stakeholders
Support internal and external audits
Report relevant quality data, risks, and performance to the Head of Quality
Contribute to budget follow-up and resource planning
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
5–10 years of experience in Quality Control within a regulated environment (medical device is a plus)
Proven experience in team management
Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 13485)
Good understanding of quality control methods and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Experience with supplier quality is an advantage
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Analytical mindset with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Fluent in French and professional level in English
