Job Title: Business Development Manager - Kistler Business Incubator
Are you prepared to take on the responsibility of driving the strategic development and sales growth of Kistler's Business Incubator? Your role necessitates identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and facilitating direct market development. Additionally, you will translate Kistler's technology roadmap into tangible outcomes.
Main Tasks
1. Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities:
o Conduct market research to identify potential partners, market trends, and emerging technologies.
o Develop a deep understanding of the target market and competitive landscape.
o Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to support strategic decision-making.
2. Networking with technology partners:
o Engage with software vendors, hardware manufacturers, and start-ups to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
o Attend industry events, conferences, trade shows, and start-up events to identify potential partners.
o Build strong relationships within the technology ecosystem to leverage expertise and explore synergies.
3. Sales and revenue generation:
o Develop and support sales strategies for existing and new Business Units to drive revenue growth.
o Identify potential customers, understand their needs, and present solutions accordingly.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.
4. Cross-functional collaboration:
o Work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to align efforts with company objectives.
5. Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
o Act as a trusted advisor by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Requirements Profile
* Master's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
* In-depth knowledge of the high-tech startup ecosystem, emerging technologies, and market trends.
* Proven experience in business and strategic development within the high-tech startup or industrial domain.
* Experience in leading, developing, and integrating startups.
* Passion for technology, disruptive innovation, digitalization, and data value engineering.
* Strong entrepreneurial mindset and networking skills.
