TITLE Legal Counsel START DATE April 2026 DURATION 12 Months, possible extension UTILIZATION 80 - 100% LOCATION(S) Zürich, Switzerland (hybrid) AREA Legal THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel for a global financial institution in Switzerland. The Legal Counsel will advise on legal matters relating to the launch of fund products across both traditional and alternative investment structures. Fluency in English is required for this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Front Office team on all legal and regulatory matters within the relevant business areas, including collective investment schemes, mandate solutions, and structured products, in both domestic and international contexts. Assist in the development and lifecycle management of investment solutions from a legal and regulatory perspective. Advise on product development, drafting of offering documentation, contract negotiation, and regulatory filings for funds and investment vehicles domiciled in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Ireland. Provide legal advice on applicable Swiss and European regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, CISA, FinSA, FinIA, UCITS, and AIFMD. Coordinate and instruct external legal counsel as required. YOUR PROFILE Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asset management, gained either in-house or in private practice. Strong technical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to traditional and alternative fund structures and investment vehicles domiciled in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Ireland. Excellent drafting and communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Highly organised, efficient, and proactive, with the ability to drive projects and deliver against tight timelines. Qualified in either a common law or civil law jurisdiction. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
