Your main tasks
1. Shape and structure the newly established end-to-end portfolio management process spanning both innovation and lifecycle initiatives
2. Ensure initiatives align with both short-term opportunities and long-term strategic goals to drive coherence and business value strategic fit, ROI)
3. Steer a cross-functional team to translate insights into high-level solution areas and guide transparent, criteria-based prioritization to balance investment and resource allocation
4. Drive portfolio interconnection analysis to assess overlaps, synergies, and gaps across offerings
5. Ensure structured handover of initiatives to project teams and oversee execution through roadmaps and alignment reviews
6. Prepare quarterly portfolio review meetings with senior leadership to assess progress, risks, and strategic fit
7. Define and embed key portfolio metrics and governance models to support informed decision-making and process consistency
8. Model and enable strong collaboration across functions to ensure engagement, transparency, and alignment at every stage of the portfolio cycle
9. Continuously improve portfolio processes, tools, and outcomes
Your profile
10. Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree is a plus)
11. At least 7 years of experience in strategic portfolio management or innovation roles
12. Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in matrix environments, ideally within MedTech or Pharma in device-focused roles
13. Demonstrated ability to translate insights into initiatives and structured roadmaps in complex and ambiguous settings
14. Deep understanding of portfolio governance, lifecycle planning, and prioritization frameworks, with solid financial literacy to evaluate investment logic and ROI modeling
15. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect strategic thinking to customer value, market differentiation, profitability, and long-term growth
16. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams and leadership levels
17. Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced, dynamic environments; comfortable with change and iteration, and proactive in shaping evolving roles and structures
18. Fluent in written and spoken English
