* Develop and implement sourcing strategies for CAPEX and MRO categories in alignment with company objectives.
* Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and compliance with procurement guidelines.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and align strategies.
* Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
* Oversee procurement processes, including tenders, evaluations, and award recommendations.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality expectations.
* Provide regular reporting on procurement activities and savings achieved.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CAPEX/MRO BUYER should have:
* Experience in procurement, particularly in CAPEX and MRO categories, within the FMCG sector.
* Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of procurement processes and market trends.
* Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
* A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
