AVEVA System Platform & IT Engineer
Location: Bulle, Switzerland (Site-Based)
About the Role:
We are seeking an IT Engineer with expertise in AVEVA System Platform and automation to join our team on-site in Bulle, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have strong IT knowledge, experience with AVEVA System Platform, and related hardware infrastructure within the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative self-starter with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Summary:
* Review and analyze business User Requirements Specification Documents.
* Support software development, testing, commissioning, and qualification in collaboration with the automation team.
* Provide IT L2/L3 support.
* Support the execution of system changes and optimization under site change control.
* Execute qualification activities.
Incident Management:
* Provide L2/L3 support.
* Manage end-to-end IT incidents.
* Create knowledgebase articles for future incident resolution.
* Monitor application health.
Problem Management:
* Manage proactive and reactive problem resolution.
* Create and manage problem tickets.
* Coordinate end-to-end problem resolution (infrastructure, network, database, and product vendors as appropriate).
Change Management:
* Create and manage change requests.
* Follow up on change activities.
* Perform change activities as needed (IQ/OQ tests).
Application Operations & Lifecycle Management:
* Manage application patching (installation, coordination with product vendor).
* Create installation procedures as appropriate.
* Manage asset information in CMDB.
* Manage application access (create/modify/disable).
* Create/update service desk and configuration guides.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP.
* Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
* Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not essential.
* IT experience preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
