Introduction
In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, delivering deep technical and industry expertise to public and private sector clients worldwide. You’ll collaborate with clients to improve their hybrid and AI journeys.
Responsibilities
Account and Project Support Activities
* Assisting the Public Sector Consulting Team in Switzerland
* Collating and updating IBM offerings around AI adoption and aligning them to client needs
* Creating presentations to position IBM in client meetings
* Planning and preparation of client meetings, events and workshops
* Support in business development activities and internal reporting on opportunities
Business Development Activities
* Development of response material for proposals
* Support in team coordination & internal processes on sales bids
* Support in material creation for oral presentation sessions
* Support in producing reports for sales and delivery cadence calls
Qualifications
Must have completed Bachelor studies by September 2026 (or earlier) and plan to start a Master's Degree in autumn or winter 2026.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Currently pursuing or holding a quantitative degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
* Strong interpersonal skills that foster effective collaboration and relationship building, particularly within diverse stakeholder environments, including public institutions
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating active listening skills and flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities while taking ownership of tasks and challenges
* High level of initiative and curiosity, with a growth mindset and interest in public sector topics, governance, and societal impact
* Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to structure information and support decision-making processes
* Fluent in German and English – at least C1 level (written and spoken)
* Swiss / EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
* Knowledge or interest in database development, a wide range of cloud platforms, web markup languages, deploying applications with container technology, and generative AI
* Exposure to web services, APIs, and multiple Java application frameworks
* Ability to understand clients' needs and challenges, applying a creative and logical approach to identify solutions
* Foundational quantitative analysis skills and ability to develop data-driven recommendations
