Full‑Time Live‑Out Nanny / Household Support
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:30 (some flexibility required)
Workload: 42.5 hours per week
Children: One baby, 11 months old
Commitment: Long‑term role
We are looking for a warm, experienced, and highly reliable full‑time live‑out nanny / household support to care for our baby and support our household. This is a long‑term position for someone who truly loves working with infants and supporting their development.
As parents we both work from home regularly and are actively involved in our child’s daily life, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment. The role may also include care for newborn(s) or additional children in the future if our family will expand.
Responsibilities
* Full daily care of our baby (in the future, newborns/additional children if it will be the case)
* Feeding, naps, hygiene, bathing and dressing
* Developmentally appropriate play and stimulation at every stage
* Singing, music and creative activities (playing an instrument is a plus)
* Daily outdoor activities: walks, playgrounds, nature outings
* Prepare healthy meals for the baby
* Maintain baby routines and sleep schedule
Household Support
* Cook healthy meals for the full family 1–2 times per day
* Daily household maintenance and organisation
* Keep the house clean and tidy (we already have a regular cleaning help)
* Flexibility is essential
* Willingness to adjust daily working hours depending on parents’ needs (slightly shorter)
* Occasional extra hours or weekend support if needed (not on a regular basis)
* Willing to travel with the family when required
Languages
* Native level in one of the following: German, Swiss German, French, English or Romanian
* At least English or French at conversational level minimum
Driving
* Valid driving licence
* Extensive driving experience
* Confident and safe transporting baby when required
Qualifications
* Proven extensive experience with newborns and infants
* Experience with different educational systems and approaches
* Knowledge and understanding of child development stages
* First aid certificate for babies and infants
* Cooking and cleaning skills are a must
* Swimming skills are a strong advantage
* An educational or paediatric background is a plus but not a must
Additional requirements
* Non‑smoker
* Willing to work exclusively with our family (parallel employment only upon agreement)
* Willing to follow and support our parenting philosophy, routines and values
* Must be discreet and respectful of full family confidentiality
* Punctual, reliable and able to communicate clearly and proactively
* Clean criminal and debt record
