For an international company based in Zug, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant. This position is ideal for an Auditor or Junior Accountant with around 2-3 years of experience who would like to move into an operational in-house role and gradually take on more responsibility.
Corporate Accountant - English & German required (m/w/d) - 80-100%
Your tasks
- Full ownership of financial accounting and reporting
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Assist in managing trade accounting activities (revenue accruals, COGS, inventory valuation, collateral control)
- Preparation of VAT returns and support in tax-related matters
- Support in payment runs and communication with banks
- Close collaboration with external auditors during audit processes
- Assistance in maintaining and improving accounting processes and systems
- Administrative and finance-related support to the General Manager
- Support in payroll accounting and social security declarations (small headcount)
- Participation in the upcoming ERP implementation project
Your profile
- Completed education or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance & Accounting is a plus)
- Around 2-3 years of experience in Audit or Financial Accounting, including experience with IFRS
- Strong interest in operational accounting and end-to-end processes
- Solid Excel skills and first experience with ERP systems
- Fluent English (company language) and good German for local communication
- Structured, reliable, and eager to learn
- Hands-on mentality with attention to detail
