PpWe are looking for an experienced bQuality and EHS Manager /b to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. /ppThe Quality Manager, or Quality Assurance Manager, will inspect the final product to make sure it has been made in compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. Join our team and contribute to creating a secure working environment for our employees. /ppbResponsibilities /b /pulliUnderstand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes /liliDevise and review specifications for products or processes /liliSupervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback /liliInspect final output and compare properties to requirements /liliApprove the right products or reject defectives /liliKeep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis /liliSubmit detailed reports to appropriate executives /liliBe on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures /liliSupport the development of OHS policies and programs /liliAdvise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.) /liliConduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures /liliReview existing policies and measures and update according to legislation /liliInitiate and organize OHStraining of employees and executives /liliInspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issuesor non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment) /liliOversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. /liliStop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy /liliRecord and investigate incidents to determine causes andhandle worker’s compensation claims /liliPrepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management /li /ulpbRequirements and skills /b /pulliProven experience as quality or safety manager /liliConscientious and responsible /liliIn depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards /liliExcellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods /liliIn depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures /liliKnowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices /liliExperience in writing reports and policies for health and safety /liliFamiliarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics /liliProficient in MS Office /liliDiligent with great attention to detail and a results driven approach /liliExcellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics /liliBSc/BA in business administration, safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred /liliCertificate in occupational health and safety is preferred /liliCertification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001 etc.) /li /ulpbInterested in working with us on the next success story?
