For one of our clients, a leader in the construction and engineering sector, we are looking for a Planner for their Lugano office.
Responsibilities
* Analyze, study, and constantly update the general work schedule and ensure compliance with the timelines imposed on subcontractors.
* Compare the contractual work schedule with the actual work schedule.
* Compare on-site time and costs with project budgets and timelines.
* Assist site management and report directly to the Project Manager (PM).
* Coordinate the submission of subcontractors' work schedules and monitor compliance.
* Schedule consortium supplies within the timeframes set for the site and procurement.
* Evaluate project optimizations in terms of time.
* Identify potential critical issues in meeting the work schedule and prepare monthly reports.
* Participate in meetings with the Consortium team and the client.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
* Experience as a general contractor
* Excellent knowledge of MS Project and general proficiency with Office tools
* Ability to work both in a team and independently
* Ability to work under pressure
* Native Italian speaker with excellent knowledge of English (German and French are desirable)
* Solid knowledge of concrete structures, metal carpentry, and systems (electrical and mechanical)
* Knowledge of BIM
