We are looking for an IT Onsite Support Engineer (m/f/d) for an assignment in Basel.
Start: 13.04.2026
End: 12.10.2026
Occupancy: 60% (24 hours per week)
Location: Basel (on-site)
In this position, you will support IT workplace support for a large and complex IT environment with around 10,000 users. You will be the central contact person on site and, together with the team, ensure stable and efficient operation of the IT systems.
Responsibilities
* Support in IT on-site support in the workplace area (2nd and 3rd level)
* Processing of IMACD processes (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove)
* Analysis and rectification of faults in the Microsoft Windows and Citrix environment
* Fault diagnosis of hardware and software problems as well as sustainable solution finding
* On-site user contact, including occasional VIP support
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations
* Participation in the optimization of processes and procedures in the support environment
* Optional support in IT projects
Your profile
* Completed training in the IT sector or comparable practical experience
* Several years of experience in workplace or on-site support, ideally in complex environments
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows (especially Windows 11), Active Directory and ideally SCCM
* Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Citrix Workspace
* ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage
* Strong service orientation and problem-solving skills
* Independent, structured and reliable way of working
* High communication skills in dealing with users and stakeholders
* Driver's license required
* Very good knowledge of German (at least C1), other languages are an advantage
Framework conditions
* Working hours Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 17:30
* Regular on-call service
* Assignment in a well-rehearsed team with close customer contact and a varied environment
