Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to optimize production and business processes, leading to increased efficiency and quality. This involves analyzing and planning processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing lean management and continuous improvement measures.
You will be responsible for managing investment and optimization projects, including layout planning and material flow analyses. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of new technologies and production systems, collaborating with various departments to achieve seamless integration.
In order to ensure successful project execution, you will train employees in new processes and standards and communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams.
* Determine and evaluate key figures for process monitoring and improvement.
* Conduct workshops (e.g., SMED) and develop decision bases and proposed solutions.
* Perform technology screening, benchmark analyses, and advanced manufacturing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
This position requires a strong understanding of interdisciplinary contexts, excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and implementation strength. A university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study is necessary, along with relevant professional experience in project management.
Proficiency in German and English is essential, and knowledge of French is an advantage. The ability to travel approximately 15% per year is also required.
* Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study.
* Experience in project management, preferably as head of investment and optimization projects.
* Relevant professional experience in machining, automation, assembly, or testing technology (desirable).
* Possess good knowledge of production and manufacturing technology.
* Strong understanding of interdisciplinary contexts.
* Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and implementation strength.
* Proficient in German and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French is an advantage.
* Will to travel approximately 15% per year.
