Senior Traffic Operator (Chemicals)
Responsibilities
* Order handling including shipping instructions, invoicing, L/C handling
* Organization and coordination of transports and shipments
* Issuance of sales- and purchase statistics, incl. long/short position list
* Planning of contract execution
* Terminal stock handling of the Rotterdam Sulphuric Acid and Liquid Sulphur tanks
* Complete set up in SAP for entire order processing including corrections etc.
* Monthly closing review including checking of margin results
* Preparation and documentation of accounting entries relevant for terminal month-end closing and joint terminal review meeting
* Assistance for back calculations for various supply-/marketing contracts
* Monthly insurance for ships and trucks
* Issuance of monthly/quarterly storage invoices, overtime invoices, etc.
* Co-operation & co-ordination with Sulphur operator
Requirements
* Min. 5 years of work experience in a similar role in an international commodity trading company
* Familiar with international transport documentation (L/C’s)
* Skillfully gather and analyze information
* Organization skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions
* Self-starter and reliable
* Team player, dedicated and flexible
* English, preferably German, any additional language is a plus
