Position Responsibilities:
1. Test design, test case development and test execution for assigned user stories working on a scrum agile squad/s and liaise with value stream key stakeholders, including product owners, delivery leads, business users, in providing resolution to reported defects, analyze business process workflows and support root cause analysis or participate in working session where applicable
2. Maintain consistent processes and templates, documentation and audit requirements, and testing tools and strategies while engaging on and challenging requirements while designing and supporting test solutions based on technical knowledge of applications.
3. Support a wide variety of systems from a quality engineering perspective, environment issues triage and resolution management while remaining current on industry quality engineering standards, technologies, approaches, and methodologies.
4. Consistently apply the concept of continuous quality engineering and/or agile process improvement, Support user acceptance testing and if needed, provide extended hours support when required.
Required Qualifications:
5. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent educational background
6. 4 or more years of hands-on experience in software testing, including the development and maintenance of automated tests using frameworks and technologies (such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, Appium, WebDriverIO, Xray for JIRA, Jenkins, TeamCity, and other testing frameworks and tools).
7. Proven ability to identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency improvements, and a demonstrated capacity to adapt to change quickly and effectively.
8. Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) - 3x a week onsite
9. Amenable to work on a fixed night shift schedule (usual schedule - 8pm to 5am PHT or 9pm to 6am PH time)
10. Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Track record of creating comprehensive test strategies, including the application of risk-based testing principles.Excellent communication skills, (written and oral) including proficiency in facilitation and presentation. Strong capabilities in planning, organization, risk management, and problem-solving.At least 2 years of strong Selenium and Java or relevant test automation experience
