As a Materials Industrialization Engineer specialised on Crystallography, you will be the technical reference for the most advanced sapphire (or other oxide) crystallization processes. These processes include, but are not limited to: Verneuil, EFG, Czochralski, HEM, and Bridgman.

Missions
 * Launch and industrialize new processes as part of technology transfers.
 * Develop new internal processes while immersing yourself in daily crystallization operations to understand the challenges and ensure proper monitoring.
 * Improve existing processes through data analysis, problem-solving, proposing and implementing changes, and numerical modeling of processes.
 * Independently carry out the various steps of the crystallization processes.
Profil du candidat
 * Education: Engineering degree in materials science, or similar
 * Experience: Min. 5 years experience in a similar hands on industrial environment in inorganic hard metals. Experience in sapphire is a huge plus.
 * Strong knowledge in general physics, solid-state physics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and solidification. Knowledge in chemistry and fluid mechanics is a plus.
 * You speak English and German/French.
 * Computer skills: Proficiency in standard software tools, with skills in statistical analysis and numerical modeling of processes considered a plus.
 * You are very curious, you like to learn and work well in a team.
 * You like fieldwork and have good interpersonal skills.
