IT Support Engineer – Windows & Mobility (Onsite)

About the Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide comprehensive technical support for Windows workstations and mobility solutions, ensuring smooth operations across hardware, software, and network components. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting, ticket management, and smart hands support for network infrastructure.
In this Role, You Will
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Windows workstations and provide mobility support/management.
* Apply practitioner-level knowledge in SCCM 2012 and Microsoft 365 (O365).
* Use command-line tools and scripting languages for remote installation and application management.
* Repair or replace damaged hardware such as laptops, desktops, and iPads.
* Upgrade systems to ensure compatibility with approved software per client standards.
* Install and upgrade antivirus software to comply with security standards.
* Test and evaluate new software and hardware for Windows environments.
* Provide user support and serve as the first point of contact for error reporting and ticket management.
* Maintain good rapport with all departments and colleagues.
* Conduct daily ticket and queue management.
* Manage inventory, create monthly forecasts, and place hardware orders based on requirements.
* Track shipments and monitor vendor delivery statuses for ordered hardware.
* Provide smart hand support to network infrastructure teams, including rack-and-stack of network devices, power reading, cable testing, and hardware reboots.
* Participate in power shutdown or maintenance activities as needed.
* Utilize ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools.
* Demonstrate strong customer support and communication skills.
What You Need to Have
* Solid experience in IT support for Windows environments.
* Practitioner-level knowledge in SCCM 2012 and Microsoft 365.
* Proficiency in scripting and command-line tools.
* Basic hardware repair and replacement skills.
* Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work onsite and travel when required.
* Flexibility to travel to other customer sites based on business requirements.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience in inventory management and vendor coordination.
* Exposure to network infrastructure support (rack-and-stack, cable testing).
* Knowledge of enterprise security standards and compliance.
