You will interpret and validate genetic analyses (NGS and others) requested by the prescribing clinicians (pathologists, oncologists, and geneticists), working closely with the FAMH team of specialists, laboratory technicians and our commercial team
You'll become an expert in your field, helping to write and present scientific reports (mainly in German)
You will participate at medical boards and national meetings.
You will advise prescribers on analyses strategies in line with indications with clinical implications
Respond to scientific enquiries from clients and colleagues
You will participate in the development and implementation of new genomic technologies and their application to our diagnostics.
To be noted that this position will be based in Bern with initial training (length to be confirmed) in Lausanne.
Your Profile
You have a university degree in a health-related scientific field (PhD highly preferred)
You have experience in molecular genetics and / or molecular biology (experience in diagnostics and / or oncology is a plus)
Working proficiency in German and either English or French is required to communicate with the rest of the team
Teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues
