For IbexTM Solutions, our unique biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in Visp in our team in Mammalian Purification Development. In this role, you will work hands‑on in our state‑of‑the‑art laboratories and interact with international, cross‑functional teams to develop purification processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you’ll do

• Execute and document experimental lab work of project‑specific downstream process development activities according to defined expectations and schedule
• Generate and collect high quality data in collaboration with individual scientists and lab technicians
• Contribute to the evaluation, maintenance and qualification of lab equipment
• Ensure appropriate maintenance of the workplace, share and implement best practices for lab and equipment management

What we are looking for

• Lab technician degree or comparable qualification
• Biotechnology expertise and knowledge in downstream process development (chromatography and tangential flow filtration) is an advantage
• Structured, focused and well‑organized working attitude, open‑minded for new ideas and suggestions, high motivation and dynamic drive
• Good knowledge of English and basic German is required
